EPROTECT

EPROTECT is a microprocessor-based power automation device for medium voltage networks with protection, substation automation, field controller, registration, measurement and other functions.

EPROTECT system devices can be used both in power industry (generation, transmission networks, distribution) and in industry.

EPROTECT provides possibility of protection of devices and loads connected with the field in the range of different over- and undercurrent, over- and undervoltage, admittance, under- and over-frequency, power, delayed and undelayed criteria, measurements and registration of electrical quantities and realization of station automatics.

EPROTECT SZR Automatic unit

     Up to 10 circuit breakers

     Cyber Security

Standardized schemes for distribution (MV, HV)

EPROTECT SZR is based on hardware platform of EPROTECT protection and controllers for MV fields offered by Energotest.
It is dedicated device for power distribution market (distribution plants).

There are two versions of the device available:

  • For MV switchgears operating in hidden reserve systems (optionally can operate also in other systems)with possibility to control circuit breakers on MV side of 110kV/SN transformer. Can operate in switchgears with loads with generation.
  • For MV switchgears operating in H5 or H3 systems (optionally they can operate also in other systems)making switches between 110kV lines supplying a given switchgear and the coupling.

The schemes of external connections take into account the possibility of connecting the signals
object-oriented signals (voltage measurements, statuses of circuit breakers' positions, bays' readiness, interlocks)
The external connection diagrams take into account the possibility of connecting field signals (voltage measurements, breaker positioning states, bays readiness, interlocks) according to the standards used in power plants.
On customer's request it is possible to add in relatively simple way in automatic unit's program
additional functions and logics. It has voltage inputs 57,7/100V.
